I grew up in Queens, New York and moved to Denver when I was 11 years old. I had never thought about engineering until I was applying for college because as a kid my biggest passion was art. As I progressed throughout high school, I began to realize that I really enjoyed problemÌýsolving and being challenged to think critically and that is when I decided to explore my options in engineering.
When I found out about the Architectural EngineeringÌýprogram at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· I knew I had found the major I wanted to pursue because it was the perfect mix of creativity and applied thinking.
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· offered the right learning environment and experiences for me and the sense of community that I sought for in college.
I am entering my second year as an architectural engineering student at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·, and I have experienced so much growth and love within my major already.
The professors and students create an atmosphereÌýthat makes you feel equipped to push yourself academically and mentally. I can confidently say I made the right decision making a home here!
