Dr. Kelly Gildersleeve has served as the Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching & Learning since June 2023. Prior to this role, Kelly held faculty roles (teaching track and tenure-track) at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·, Chapman University, and UCLA. She also led program assessment and served as an academic advisor within LSA Student Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Prior to these positions, Kelly completed postdoctoral research fellowships at Chapman University and UCLA. She holds a PhD in social psychology with a minor in quantitative psychology and certificate in interdisciplinary relationship science from UCLA.ÌýÌýÌý

Kelly is a passionate educator, with over a decade of experience teaching and mentoring diverse college students. As an assessment specialist and psychological scientist, Kelly also has extensive experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative methods to develop data-driven recommendations. In her role at the CTL, Kelly is committed to advancing evidence-based, inclusive, and equity-minded practices in teaching, learning, and assessment through one-on-one consultations, workshops, and major campus-wide initiatives. She is likewise committed to building community among CU educators to collectively reflect, share ideas, and support one another’s growth as innovators in higher education.Ìý
