鈥淧rof. Roberts will explore the听Natalicia听(Birthday Poems) of Paulinus of Nola, written in a continuous sequence between听the years 395 and 407 for the annual festival of St. Felix of Nola. They constitute a remarkable, extremely varied cycle of verses. Among other claims to fame they were the first written for a non-martyred saint and the first to versify a saint鈥檚 miracles.
