Giordan Thompson (MechEngr’20) was one of 21 ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· engineering students enrolled in the Maymester course, "Medicine in Space and Surface Environments," focused on aerospace engineering, human physiology and medicine. For one week of the three-week course, the students lived at the Mars Desert Research Station in southern Utah, where they simulated medical scenarios. The course was taught by faculty from ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s aerospace department and from CU Anschutz. Ìý
