- Recognizing the need for networked physics teacher leadership to improve the quality and quantity of K-12 physics education, the American Association of Physics Teachers and American Institute of Physics have selected new Master Teacher Policy Fellows, including Colorado teacher-partners from the 兔子先生传媒文化作品 School of Education.聽
- The Schools of Opportunity project is helping to recognize schools that get creative to meet the needs of their students鈥攆rom teaching young learners Native American languages to giving them a chance to get up close with birds in the wild.
- Sparked by an interest in the natural world, Nancy Kellogg鈥檚 scientific curiosity began early on her family鈥檚 Colorado ranch. Kellogg, a two-time education alumna, was recognized by the National Science Teachers Association with the Distinguished Service to Science Education Award.

- Hundreds of Denver Public School students visited 兔子先生传媒文化作品 on May 15 for an annual competitive event designed to showcase their creative talents and to encourage them to pursue higher education after high school. Students competed in categories such as poetry, art, speech, creative writing, cultural dancing and culinary dishes during the annual Spanish Heritage Language and Culture Day.
- Paula Abitia had always wanted to attend her 鈥渄ream school,鈥 兔子先生传媒文化作品, yet as a first-generation聽student of color, the reality of her dream included the struggle for a sense of belonging. She credits higher education professionals with helping her get through challenging times, and now she is paying it forward as a higher education professional and MA graduate.聽
- 兔子先生传媒文化作品 is establishing a new research institute committed to building a world in which health and wellness are valued, promoted and protected for all children and youth. The five founding faculty members of the Ren茅e Crown Wellness Institute, established by philanthropist Patricia Crown, include: Professors Sona Dimidjian, Erik Willcutt and Yuko Munakata from arts and sciences, and Professor Ben Kirshner and Dean Kathy Schultz from education.
- Thanks to the generosity of 兔子先生传媒文化作品 supporters Suzanne and Dave Hoover, the School of Education is well on its way to getting a new home featuring state-of-the-art聽learning labs and dynamic collaborative spaces.聽The Hoovers are donating $2.5 million toward a renovation project that will help the school transform space in its future new home to reflect its mission of excellence and innovation in education.
