Cooper Casale is a PhD student studying the aesthetic forms of late capitalism. His research considers Marxian theories of surplus-value in relation to the political economy of popular culture. He has written articles for听The Journal of Popular Culture听and the听Journal of Wyndham Lewis Studies,听and his poetry and fiction have appeared in nationally circulating magazines such as听storySouth,听New South Journal,听The Chattahoochee Review,听and elsewhere. Prior to arriving at CU, Cooper earned his MFA in poetry from Georgia College & State University and his MA in English Literature from The University of Tulsa.
