Assistant Professor in Asian American Studies
The Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Asian American Studies to begin in Fall 2019. We are particularly interested in candidates who examine gender and sexuality in transnational and comparative perspectives. In line with building our newly established Ph.D. program in Comparative Ethnic Studies, we welcome comparative, interdisciplinary, and intersectional approaches and innovative theoretical perspectives.
The successful candidate will have PhD in hand for a Fall 2019 start date and will show evidence of a commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence and to the training and mentoring of doctoral students. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of research excellence and productivity.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies, American Studies, or other relevant disciplines with a specific focus on Asian American Studies or Asian American topics within Comparative Ethnic Studies.
