9th Annual Intermountain Sustainability Summit (ISS) Student Poster Contest

The  at the 9th Annual Intermountain Sustainability Summit (ISS) is now open for submissions!

Posters related to sustainability in one of the five categories below are welcome for submission through Monday, February 5th, 2018.

Posters must be based on a student project for a class or internship that relates to sustainability, and include the name of a project mentor or adviser. Poster categories include:

  • Sustainability Research (Undergraduate & Graduate)
  • Green Design (e.g., architectural, landscape, engineering/technology)
  • Sustainability Education & Community Engagement
  • Sustainability in Action (e.g., program, policy, advocacy successes)
  • NEW! Sustainability in Creative Arts & Humanities

Students whose posters are selected to be a part of the event will receive free registration to the ISS and be entered to win cash prizes.

Posters will be reviewed upon submission and students will be notified of acceptance or rejection of their poster on or before Friday, February 9th.

The Intermountain Sustainability Summit, Weber State University,Ogden, Utah, will be held on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 with affiliated events on the 2nd. If you are unfamiliar with the ISS, it is an energetic gathering of over 400 sustainability professionals, industry practitioners, policy experts, educators, and students.
