- The Treatment Plant Services Department currently has an opening in the Technology Development and Research Division. This opening is part of the Research series, which includes; Operations Analyst 1, Operations Specialist, & Engineering Research Intern positions. The deadline to apply is April 13, 2020, by 5:00 pm.
- The Board of Directors of the Colorado Groundwater Association has announced the availability of the Harlan Erker Memorial Scholarship for 2020. They will again be awarding one or more scholarships of up to $2,000.
- The Office of Science is pleased to announce that the Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program is now accepting applications for 2020. Applications are due May 6, 2020. Four new transdisciplinary research areas for encouraging graduate training activities at the convergence of multiple disciplines and communities, including Microelectronics, Data Science, Fundamental Symmetries, and Accelerator Science. We strongly encourage applications in these areas.Â
- CU-Boulder has partnered with the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre (RCRCCC) to place graduate students in locations Southern/Eastern Africa each summer to help understand and address climate risks. Apply today to take part.
- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate Office of University Programs sponsors the Professional Opportunities for Student Workforce to Experience Research (HS-POWER) Program for undergraduate and graduate students. HS-POWER is open to students majoring in a broad spectrum of homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines as well as DHS mission-relevant research areas.
- The Colorado Groundwater Association is announcing the availability of the 2019 Harlan Erker Memorial Scholarship. One or more scholarships of up to $2,000 will be awarded in April 2020. The scholarship is open to graduate students and senior undergraduates (as of fall 2020) currently attending an accredited college or university in Colorado. Â
- The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech invites applications for a two year post-doctoral fellowship to begin Fall 2020. The ideal candidate would have policy-relevant academic research and teaching interests that interface with one of the School’s core programs in Emerging Technologies and International Security or in Global Development.
- Nature, Environment, Science & Technology (NEST) Studio for the Arts is accepting proposals for Graduate Student Summer Fellowships (Currently enrolled graduate students at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· in the arts and humanities, and sciences) and NEST Community Grants (Colorado-based artists and scientists proposing projects that engage concepts from both the arts and sciences in a meaningful way, and result in an outcome that can be presented or exhibited within Colorado).
