Proposal Writing: Keeping the Narrative Simple—Dec. 7 @ 12-1 p.m. via Zoom
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is pleased to present: Keeping the Narrative Simple. A project narrative that is easy to read is one that is more likely to be read. In this session, we’ll cover the concepts of word choice, transitions, and narrative flow. Jim Mazzouccolo, proposal editor and writing coach for the Research & Innovation Office (RIO), will discuss key strategies and practices to enhance your proposal’s competitiveness. Open to graduate students and postdocs.Â

- Master’s grade changes must be submitted for incomplete courses taken during previous semesters

- Deadline for doctoral students to update their diploma name and address

- Fall 2022 degree conferral date (no campuswide ceremony)
Funding Opportunities & Deadlines
°Õ³ó±ðÌýGraduate School Student Travel Grant application for travel occurring Jan. 1, 2023 to Apr. 30, 2023, opens Dec.12, 12:01 a.m. to Dec. 15, 11:59 p.m.
The Graduate School offers partial funding for ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· graduate students to present their work at meetings or conferences outside Colorado. The Graduate School provides a travel grant of $450 for domestic conferences and $700 for international conferences. Funds will be applied directly to the student's university account after the dates of travel have passed and proof of travel has been submitted (You must be enrolled during the term that the travel occurs, or the funds will applied to the next term you are enrolled).
