Mark your calendars for important spring graduation deadlines, funding opportunities, events and professional development workshops.
Graduation Deadlines
March 1
Graduate students must apply online to graduate through on the 鈥渁pply for graduation鈥 card in order to have the degree awarded in May. This is required whether you plan to attend the university-wide ceremony or not. PhD students must enter their dissertation title as part of the online graduation application; you may update the title through the portal until this date. This title will appear on your transcript after your degree is awarded.
March 1 (final deadline)
Master's students who have not done so must submit to the Graduate School a . Applications follow a workflow process and must be approved by the academic department before they are directed to the Graduate School.

- Due Feb. 26: Brenda M. Romero CU Dissertation Award in Music and/or Sound Studies and Social Justice
- Due March 3: MFA/MM Excellence in Creative Research Award
- Due March 15: The Center for African & African American Studies Graduate Student Summer Fellowships
- Due March 17: Center for Humanities and the Arts Summer Fellowships
- Due April 14: Graduate School Student Travel Grant
Events & Professional Development Workshops
