Human Resources invites you to participate in HeartMath®Ìý to learn how to de-stress, in the moment, during challenging situations. For over 20 years, the evidence-basedÌýHeartMath®Ìýprogram has helped people discover practical ‘in the moment’ self-regulation tools to increaseÌýresiliencyÌýin stressful or pressured situations. This one-hour workshop will explain the role emotions play in performance and health. Participants will learn how to utilize the heart/brain connection to regulate heart rhythms to immediately address different emotional states in challenging situation. This program is based upon the Institute for HeartMath’s research on physiology of optimal performance.

  • Apply tools to enhance your ability to focus, process information and solve problems
  • Use breathing techniques to increase vitality and resilience
  • Recognize when to use HeartMath to reduce stress, worry and fatigue

About the Facilitator

Erin Cunningham Ritter is the Director of Employee Engagement in the Dean’s Office, College of Arts and Sciences, University of Colorado.Ìý She previously served as the Director of Wellness Programs, Training and Leadership Development at the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center on the CU medical campus. For more than 15 years,ÌýErinÌýhas coached more than 3,000 clients on wellness, personal and professional development, allowing them to feel empowered to accomplish their unique goals.ÌýErin is partnering with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Human Resource to offer this workshop.
