New Paper! Putting infection on the map
Our lab was recently covered in Colorado Arts and Science Magazine and Phys.org regarding a recent paper, 鈥淧utting infection on the map: Using heatmaps to characterise within- and between-host distributions of trematode metacercariae鈥 authored by multiple members of our laboratory in the Journal of Helminthology. This paper focuses on the use of heatmaps to analyze the spatial distribution of trematode infections in their host organisms. By utilizing a visual technique, it allows the identification of certain hotspots or 鈥渕icrohabitats鈥 that parasites choose in a host.
