Max Saffer-Meng joined the group in Fall 2024 as a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering Department at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·. He received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Yale University, where he worked on developing electrocatalytic membranes for PFAS degradation in water. Currently, he is studying novel membranes for selective carbon dioxide capture and humidity condensation. In his spare time, Max enjoys carpentry, hiking, and cooking, and plays trombone in a jazz fusion band.
