Natalia Bautista is a Mixteca culture bearer and volunteer producer for Radio Bilingüe’s, La Hora Mixteca, a weekly Mexican Indigenous radio program aired across the full Radio Bilingüe network. Natalia is a migrant farm worker, born in the state of Veracruz to parents from San Juan Mixtepec, Oaxaca, and she has worked the fields since childhood in Veracruz, Sinaloa, Baja and now in the United States. As a producer of La Hora Mixteca, Natalia speaks in her native Mixteco language and features Chilena music for her fellow Mixtecos.Ìý She has been organizing Guelaguetzas in her community of Santa Maria since 2002.
