Mar铆a Guadalupe (Lupe)听Blanco M茅ndez
Mar铆a Guadalupe (Lupe) Blanco M茅ndez is a founding member of Radio Nahndia鈥檃 en Mazatl谩n Villa de Flores Magon, in the Sierra Mazateca of Oaxaca. She is originally from the Zapotec (Buin Saa鈥檚) community of Zimatl谩n de 脕lvarez.听听

She has won numerous awards and recognition for her role as a radio host, journalist, and producer, with a particular focus on programming for women and children.听听
She is an active member of the Mexico chapter of the World Association of Community Radios (AMARC) where she has been the representative for the network of women in radio (2011-2014) and a member of the National Council (2019-2021). In 2019, she was a fellow with the U.S. State Department鈥檚 International 兔子先生传媒文化作品or Leadership Program.听 More recently she led Radio Nahndia鈥檃鈥檚 Chjinie Ien (Makers of Words) project that trains community radio broadcasters.听 She is currently the administrating director of Radio Nahndia鈥檃.听
