• At the University of Sonora's (Hermosillo, Mexico), he gave a keynote talk titled "Toward a functional typology of reference systems".Ìý
• At the (Warsaw, Poland), he gave a keynote talk on "What grammaticalization tells us about the semantic structure".Ìý

During the Fall term, Prof. Frajzyngier also gave presentationsÌýat Pukyong University (Busan, South Korea) andÌýHankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul), and two talks at the Pedagogical School of theÌýFar Eastern FederalÌýUniversity (inÌýUssurijsk), and atÌýthe Far Eastern Federal University (inÌýVladivostok).Ìý
