- ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· engineering students are finalizing an infrared imaging system that will allow a user to monitor subsurface features in wind turbine blades, an invention that could make wind turbine repair safer, faster and more cost-efficient.
- Mechanical engineering capstone teams working with QL+ had two primary aims: making an impact on a wounded veteran’s life and putting mechanical skills to the test. They designed a luggage carrier device for wheelchair users and a disabled swimmer lift system.
- When high school students from rural Colorado research air quality as it relates to the things that interest them most, the result is enthusiastic students and one-of-a-kind projects. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s Air Quality Inquiry project, supported by a ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Outreach Award, pairs students with undergraduate mentors.
- ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·'s student-led chapter of ASME is reaching new heights. With eyes on the future, ME students are not only connecting with their peers but have also started a series of events to build connections between students, faculty, alumni and the mechanical engineering community.
- Alumni are changing the way students connect with industry, demonstrated by the 500+ students and 45 alumni attending ME Alumni Connect Day 2018. The third annual ME Alumni Connect Day was a huge success!
