Team 07: Robotic Surgery Device Adapter
Medtronic has created many market-leading handheld laparoscopic instruments, as well as the Hugoâ„¢ Robotic-Assisted Surgery Platform. Team 7 has designed an adapter that allows Hugo to hold and operate Medtronic's existing instruments, namely Sabre 7+ and LigaSure Maryland XP. The attachment uses mechanical systems to translate remote input into precise control of all surgical equipment functions.
