Welcome to the trombone studio at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music!

The trombone studio comprises undergraduate and graduate students. Weekly private lessons, weekly trombone class and trombone ensemble provide the basis of our collective interactions. Additional enrichment comes from frequent guest recitals and master classes by some of the world鈥檚 leading trombonists, including Joseph Alessi (New York Philharmonic), Ian Bousfield (London Symphony and Vienna Philharmonic), Colorado native Craig Mulcahy (National Symphony), John Rojak (American Brass Quintet) and soloist-conductor-composer Christian Lindberg ... to name just a few.

The sheer beauty of Boulder and the college鈥檚 proximity to Denver鈥攚ith easy access to its flourishing arts scene鈥攃omplement a comprehensive college experience within a world-class academic institution.
