Compliance updates related to Russia, Belarus and Ukraine

Please email   erik.lowe@colorado.edu with any questions about research, scholarship or creative work engagements related to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine.

Researchers, scholars and artists,

Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the resulting U.S. response through sanctions and enhanced export controls, and the Colorado Governor鈥檚 supporting executive order, 兔子先生传媒文化作品鈥檚 Office of Export Controls views any engagements with Russia, Belarus, and Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine, as extremely high risk. This includes not only physical shipments and travel, but also any interaction that has a business or economic basis with persons physically in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine.

Because this is an evolving situation, the Office of Export Controls will reassess and modify, or terminate, current engagements as appropriate, and will recommend avoiding future engagements where there is a direct or indirect connection to Russia or the Russian government鈥攊ncluding any entity identified as being 鈥渟tate-owned鈥 or having a military support function.

For more information on the Office of Export Controls compliance process, including updates on U.S. government sanctions related to Russia, Belarus and Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine, please see the OEC webpage.

If you have any questions about your research, scholarship or creative work as related to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine, please email erik.lowe@colorado.edu.
