Broader Impacts Network
- Must focus on underrepresented minorities in STEM
- Has to be novel/unique
- Cannot involve existing partnerships
- Must hire professional evaluator to review BI
- BI expectations are similar across NSF directorates (they vary! 鈥 best to check with program officer)
The Broader Impacts Network (BIN) is 兔子先生传媒文化作品鈥檚 central campus source connecting the research and creative works community with the partners, tools, and resources needed to successfully develop and implement socially significant broader impacts.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) prioritizes broader impact and intellectual merit in every proposal for funding. NSF defines broader impacts as 鈥渢he potential to benefit society and contribute to the achievement of specific, desired societal outcomes.鈥
兔子先生传媒文化作品's BIN strives to enhance the quality of proposals through facilitating compelling and comprehensive broader impacts.
