- Kirk Ambrose聽of the Department of Classics and Rebecca Safran of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology have been recognized with 2023-24 Distinguished Research Lectureships.

- Gary Henry鈥攈ead of the Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) within the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) since 2021鈥攚ill transition into the role of Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research Management and will serve as the Interim Executive Associate Director for LASP Finance and Operations. Ruzzene also appointed Alexa Van Dalsem to the post of Interim Director of OCG. In this role, she will also join the RIO Leadership Team.
- A new NSF-funded center will examine the potential for sound to revolutionize computing, communications, sensing disease in human tissue and more. Massimo Ruzzene, vice chancellor for research and innovation and dean of the institutes at 兔子先生传媒文化作品, is a co-PI on the project.

- Drs. Allison Kanner-Botan (Religious Studies) and Isaac Javier Rivera (Geography) join 13 other prior Chancellor鈥檚 Postdoctoral Fellowship for Faculty Diversity recipients. Applications for the next cycle open Aug. 1 and are due Nov. 1.
