Bron Taylor gives lecture on “Dark Green Religion”
Professor Bron Taylor of the Department of Religion at the University of Florida was the guest of our Department from November 10-13, 2009. The centerpiece of his visit was his well-attended lecture for the University and larger community on his newly released book,Dark Green Religion: Nature Spirituality and the Planetary Future(University of California Press, 2009). Professor Taylor's work on religion and the environment was presented to graduate and undergraduate students in the Department as well as to faculty and students in the Departments of Environmental Studies and Journalism.
