A Letter from your Staff Council Tri-Chairs (English)
Hello Campus Community,
Happy spring to all! This letter has been translated into Spanish, Chinese, Laotian, and Hindi in an effort made to include our staff community more fully. Working to further our DEI and employee engagement goals, Staff Council is pleased to now provide our communications in several languages. Currently, we are providing translations into four languages and will continue to grow accessibility in our communications and events so we may better communicate and represent our diverse community. We appreciate all those who helped to support this work.
As we approach the end of another academic year, it is important that we as staff remember to focus on our self-care and well-being. Staff Council is committed to sharing resources, supporting, and advocating for staff well-being. We are pleased to collaborate with the Office of Health and Wellness Services to promote many of the resources available to staff. ÌýFrom mental health resources to professional development opportunities, we encourage all staff to explore the many options available for Employee Wellness. Ìý Ìý
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Staff are invited to participate in the 2023 Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey, which measures several areas related to the employee experience. The survey will be open Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 21, 2023. The survey can be completed on a phone, tablet, or computer and will take approximately ten minutes to complete. For our front-line staff, computer stations will be set up for you to complete the survey while on campus. The survey will also be available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Lao, Tibetan, and Nepali.
Lastly, we are pleased to recognize the great work of the Staff Council Blood Drive and Community Service committee. April will mark the 50th year of Staff Council's partnership with Vitalant. Fifty years of life-saving donations from the CU community to the residents of Colorado - a truly remarkable accomplishment! We truly appreciate the continued effort of the committee to be inclusive by advocating for inclusive donations and Be The Match participation.
We are grateful for the opportunity to represent you, and we wish you all an excellent finish to the semester.
Best Regards,
