Volunteer during move-in season, receive freebies
With Fall rapidly approaching there are many opportunities to get involved welcoming students and their families to campus. Below are two groups soliciting volunteers for multiple duties and shifts that can accommodate all activity levels.Ìý
CU Environmental Center
The CU Environmental Center is recruiting volunteers to help students and their families moving into the residence hall recycle their waste properly. Volunteers will be stationed by the cardboard dumpsters at large residence halls to assist students and welcome them to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·, home of the nation's first collegiate recycling program. In addition to helping Facilities Management crews collect recycling easier by keeping dumpsters and bins organized, volunteers play an important role in fostering a culture of sustainability in the class of 2027.Ìý
