How to recharge and stay connected during finals

As the semester wraps up, it’s crucial to keep things in perspective and take care of yourself. Check out these tips to recharge, refocus and reconnect.Ìý
Schedule study breaks
Create a study schedule for the next three weeks to help you prepare for finals and finish assignments. Be sure to include study breaks in your schedule! You can add both shorter breaks where you stretch or grab a snack with longer breaks that allow you to catch up with a friend or change up your study environment.Ìý
Take screen breaks
When you're tired from studying, it can be tempting to zone out on your phone or in front of your TV. However, time away from screens can help you refocus and rest your mind. During your free time, try to find ways to relax without screens. Go for a walk or bike ride, play a board game with your roommate or prepare some nourishing snacks for the week.Ìý
Make time to connect
In addition to breaks from studying and screen time, make sure to build social time into your schedule as you finish the semester. It’s ok to still spend time with friends and go to events while you’re focused on academics. You can go to dinner, attend a campus event or take study breaks together.ÌýÌý
