WHO: CU聮s Chancellor Richard Byyny, volunteer gardeners from across the CU-Boulder campus and Community Food Share garden staff.
WHAT: The final harvest of the season of the two community gardens on campus that are sponsored by CU聮s Office of Community Relations and Boulder聮s Community Food Share.
WHEN: Thursday, September 16th at 3 pm.
WHERE: CU Recreation Center garden, just south of the main entrance to the Recreation Center.
WHY: The gardens have been maintained by volunteers throughout the summer in order to grow fresh produce for Community Food Share. This is the second year the gardens have been maintained, and this year more than 240 pounds of produce have been donated so far.
