Featuring prominent entrepreneurs including Celestial Seasonings聮 founder Mo Siegel and Frontier Airlines聮 president Sam Addoms, a live-from-Boulder national radio broadcast will highlight the region聮s strength in entrepreneurship and emerging ventures.

The Nov. 3 broadcast from netLibrary.com聮s Boulder facility is part of the Richard Tavener radio show's 100-day tour of 46 entrepreneurially active cities.

The broadcast of Tavener聮s show, "Entrepreneurs! Living the American Dream," is viewable on the Web at .

The speakers will discuss their success stories, the experience of creating a business and other topical subjects. Panelists include Siegel, Addoms, Nancy Pierce of Carrier Access Corp. and Kim Jordan of New Belgium Brewing Co. Steve Bosley, founder of the Bolder Boulder 10 K race, and Jeffrey Lebesch, cofounder of New Belgium Brewing Co., will provide additional interviews.

"Boulder聮s selection as one of the country聮s most dynamic entrepreneurial communities is extremely appropriate," said Denis Nock, director of CU-Boulder's Robert H. and Beverly A. Deming Center for Entrepreneurship. "The excitement of this community, coupled with the university聮s strength and enthusiasm for the field, makes Boulder an ideal location for this event."

The national tour began on Sept. 23 with a special media event at the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in Kansas City. The tour聮s goal is to document and celebrate the state of entrepreneurship in America at the end of the 20th century through the stories of successful entrepreneurs.

Ernst & Young, the CU-Boulder Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Graduate Entrepreneurs Association are cosponsors.

The event will be hosted by netLibrary.com in the Events Center of the company聮s new Boulder headquarters. The live panel discussion will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by interviews with individual entrepreneurs.
