Rooted: Be Self-Care Aware.听Join the Dennis Small Cultural Center in UMC 204听from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for a lesson in taking care of yourself when the going gets tough. This is a time for relaxation and restoration, and will feature free crafts, food听and an education in caring for yourself mentally and physically during finals week. Don鈥檛 miss out!
A Night With Maysoon Zayid.听Catch award-winning stand up comedian Maysoon Zayid听from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom for her discussion of life as a Muslim American woman with cerebral palsy. The talented Zayid has toured the world performing her comedy and acting as an educator about some topics that have traditionally been sensitive with the American public in the funniest possible way. The event is free and open to all.
Apply for an Alternative Break Trip.听Alternative Break Trips can be a great way to simultaneously travel to a new place and work as a volunteer within a local issue, ranging from disability advocacy to homelessness to environmental conservation. These trips are relatively cheap for students and have to potential to change lives. Applications open today.

Twelfth Night听opening night.听Be sure to be one of the first to see CU鈥檚 rendition of the classic Shakespeare rom-com and all female production, Twelfth Night. It premieres at 7:30 p.m. at the University Theater and tickets are $20. There will be laughs galore, a love story, and of course, cross dressing.

The Nobel Lecture Series Fall 2016: Albert Camus by Professor Warren Motte.听Come hear Professor Warren Motte of the French and Italian Department speak about the legendary, Nobel Prize winning author Albert Camus听at 7 p.m. in the Boulder Bookstore (1107 Pearl St.). Camus was a leading philosopher of the absurdist movement and wrote many well known books in his time, including The Stranger. This discussion of his life and work is free and open to all.
