Hello peers! Congrats to the Buffalo football team on a听historic听season鈥攜ou did us proud! To everyone out there: Good luck with your last week of classes and your first finals. Please keep it quiet and respectful for your studious friends. One More Time with Feeling.听If you are a Nick Cave fan, then come check out a documentary about his life, his music听and his tragedies in a special showing by the Program Council at 7:30 p.m.听in Chem 140. We all know and love Cave (who can forget Daniel Radcliffe 鈥渄ancing鈥 to O Children in the seventh Harry Potter film?), but if you鈥檙e interested in learning more about the musician and the loss of his son, then check out this 3-D movie. Tickets are $7 for students.听

Ritmos Latinos: End of semester dance party.听Come join CU鈥檚 famous salsa club, Ritmos Latinos, for a free celebratory dance party听from 7:30 to 11 p.m. in UMC 457. This is a great way to de-stress before finals, regardless of your salsa dancing experience (or lack thereof). There will be free food and a DJ so come in some comfortable clothing and shake your booty!

Preparing for finals workshop.听Join the Student Academic Success Center for a free academic workshop on preparing for finals. If your study techniques could use some brushing up or if your game plan needs solidifying, then swing by Flemming 170 from 2 to 3 p.m. for some coaching and tips.

Fun before finals.听There is a slew of free activities in UMC 457,听including origami lessons and tea from 4 to 5 p.m., pizza and sleep mask decoration from 5 to 6 p.m., and painting with mocktails from 6 to 8 p.m. Come enjoy the free food and fun and take a break from your studyathon and bring a friend!

ATLAS Expo.听Stop by the ATLAS building (first floor and Black Box) from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to check out more than 100 student projects in virtual reality, physical computing, mobile apps, human-computer interaction, design, information and communication technology for development. The expo is free and open to the public.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas听蝉肠谤别别苍颈苍驳.听The Program Council presents this free screening of the most popular Christmas movie of all time, featuring the furry green party pooper and his little blonde friend, Cindy. There will be free popcorn and if you dig out the ugliest Christmas sweater your grandma has ever given you and wear it, you could win prizes! The movie starts at 8 p.m. in Chem 140.

Pinterest and Popcorn: National brownie day.听It鈥檚 getting to be the season when gift tags are a necessary purchase, but you can make them for free this afternoon in UMC 337 whilst munching on free popcorn and brownies in honor of national brownie day. Come anytime between noon and 5 p.m. and relax with crafts and snacks.

Yoga for every student.听You know that awesome feeling of stretching out after a scrunched-up-in-you-chair study extravaganza sesh? Yoga is like that, but 10 times听better, especially during the week before finals. Bring your inner yogi out with a free yoga class in Kittredge N100 today from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. If you have a mat, bring it; if not, no worries. Just wear comfortable and loose clothing.

International Coffee Hour.听I haven鈥檛 featured this event in awhile, so I鈥檇 just like to remind you all that something awesome happens every Friday from 4 to 5:30 p.m.听in the UMC North Dining Room. International Coffee Hour, open to all, is a chance to get together with current friends and friends yet to be made and drink coffee, eat free food听and generally enjoy interesting conversation. Don鈥檛 be late!

Late Night Breakfast.听This is always one of the most popular events of the semester because it features everyone鈥檚 favorite thing: free breakfast and lots of it. The idea is that if you find yourself studying in the UMC at a late hour this evening (10 to 11 p.m.), then help yourself to some free breakfast food in the Alfred Packer Grill. There will also be free study break activities from 8 p.m. onwards. Public Service announcement: there will also be make your own breakfast burritos!
