Bawdy Bodies: Satires of Unruly Women.听This new exhibition at the CU Art Museum in the Visual Arts Complex features 18th听century satirical cartoons of British women- a window into another time and another culture.听This exhibit is open daily this week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., so swing by and learn a thing or two.

Poetry workshop with Toluwanimi.听Join Nigerian poet and Denver鈥檚 Youth Poetry Laureate Toluwanimi Oluwafunmilayo Obiwole for a free poetry workshop at the Dennis Small Cultural Center (UMC 204) from 4:30 to 6 p.m. If you love poetry, and you could tweak your work, this is an excellent opportunity to learn from a master. Bring some paper and your creative vibes!
Reflections Unheard: Black Women in Civil Rights听蝉肠谤别别苍颈苍驳.听In honor of Black History Month, come by CHEM 142 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for a free movie screening about black women in civil rights. Bring a friend and come soak up some history. There will be free food as well.听

Branch Out: Henna class.听If you love henna, the beautiful temporary Indian tattoos, then swing by the Dennis Small Cultural Center (UMC 204) from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.听for a free henna tattoo and free food. You will also be schooled on the history and significance of henna while you create your own.
Buffalo Nites: Drag bingo.听If you鈥檙e feeling lucky, then get ye to the North Dining Room of the UMC from 7 to 9 p.m.听for some free drag bingo. You could win prizes and eat lots of fee food provided by the Center for Student Involvement. Don鈥檛 miss out!

Global Warming Demystified.听If climate change has you boggled, or you just want to brush up on your facts, then come to Fiske Planetarium听at 7 p.m. Astrophysicist Jeffrey Bennett, who literally wrote the book on global warming, will be there to present the science and answer any questions you may have. Tickets are $7 for students.
Moana听蝉肠谤别别苍颈苍驳.听Be sure to catch the very popular new animated film, starring The Rock, for free in CHEM 140听at 8 p.m., courtesy of the one and only Program Council. Moana, which has received excellent reviews from critics, takes place in ancient Polynesia. Admission and popcorn are free for all.听

CU on听the Weekend: "What Darwin Didn鈥檛 Know About Animal Evolution."听Join Daniel Medeiros for a free lecture open to all on evolutionary biology. Medeiros will be discussing animal diversity and gene editing in the Butcher Auditorium of the East Campus Biotech building听from 1 to 3 p.m. Whether you鈥檙e a science aficionado or just a curious student, you鈥檒l want to catch this lecture!
CU guitar festival.听This weekend, amazing musicians converge on CU for the annual guitar festival. Cellist Kimberly Patterson and guitarist Patrick Sutton perform a free concert in the Grusin Music Hall from 8 to 9 p.m., and听the international guitar competition final round will be decided from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 12 in the same venue. Don鈥檛 miss out on some incredible performances.
