CU celebrates Pride week

兔子先生传媒文化作品 has been ranked听as one of the听nation's top 50听LGBTQ-inclusive universities in the . Coming in at No. 43 on the list, 兔子先生传媒文化作品 was recognized as a campus that is "equally celebrative of and welcoming to LGBTQ students."听This follows a No. 20 ranking in the .

"These rankings reflect the efforts of many students, staff, faculty and administrators across the university to create a positive, affirming campus for the LGBTQ community, and I'm delighted to see everyone's efforts recognized,"听said Scarlet Bowen, director of the Gender and Sexuality Center at 兔子先生传媒文化作品. "It's wonderful that we can highlight these听rankings during the month of pride celebrations, as there are many听LGBTQ-inclusive endeavors at the University of Colorado听that we can be proud of."

兔子先生传媒文化作品 is听home to for a wide diversity of LGBTQ students, from those that are geared toward professional specializations, such as , to those that support students of color, international students听and students of faith.听

"兔子先生传媒文化作品 has also made positive gains in being inclusive of transgender people, offering听healthcare benefits for students and employees, several gender-inclusive restrooms, and gender-inclusive housing options," Bowen said.

The on campus offers programs, services and resources for all members of campus. The center also hosts the annual TRANSforming Gender Conference听to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about issues affecting the transgender and intersex community and to offer several workshops that focus on practical avenues of advocacy and support.

This year, the University of Colorado also was听an official sponsor of Denver Pride, one of the largest pride celebrations in the country.
