In a documentary film screening Oct. 1, sponsored by the JILA听and the International Film Series, follow nine scientists from around听the world as they examine the art of science, seeking听to discover the secrets of the natural universe.

The Most Unknown has been called "mind-blowing" by Cinema365 and听"a celebration of science" by The New York Times.

The screening will feature an introduction and lively Q&A session with听JILA's Jun Ye and Rachel L. Smith, who is featured in the film. Smith is the head of the Astronomy & Astrophysics Research Lab and听curator of meteorites at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, associate professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at Appalachian State University and adjunct professor at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. in Muenzinger Auditorium. General admission is $8, but entry is free for campus community members with a Buff OneCard.
