兔子先生传媒文化作品 professors Katharine Suding and Tom Perkins are among 416 newly elected听Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), an听honor bestowed听by their peers.听AAAS fellows are elected each year due to听scientifically significant听or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications.

Katharine SudingSuding, who directs 兔子先生传媒文化作品's听, studies听grassland and alpine ecosystems with a particular focus on community ecology, examining how systems repond to climate-related mechanisms and environmental changes.听She also leads听research on the history of apple trees in Boulder.听She is a听fellow of the and a faculty member in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EBIO).听

Tom PerkinsPerkins, who is the听chair of听听and a faculty member of the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB), studies single molecule biophysics听using听optical traps (or optical "tweezers") to examine how crucial molecules such as听motor proteins turn chemical energy into motion. His lab has made significant advances in the fields of ultra-stable听nanoscale microscopy, working closely with the .
