University officials are saddened to share that local law enforcement officials have confirmed the death of missing University of Colorado Boulder student Mikhail 鈥淢isha鈥 Solok, whose family reported him missing on March 14.

兔子先生传媒文化作品 student Mikhail (Misha) SolokBoulder County authorities found Solok a few miles northeast of campus within the city limits. The cause and manner of death are pending an investigation, but no foul play is suspected at this time, according to the Boulder County Coroner鈥檚 Office.

鈥淲e are heartbroken to learn of Misha鈥檚 death, and extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends,鈥 said 兔子先生传媒文化作品 Police Chief Doreen Jokerst. 鈥淲e thank all who provided tips or assisted in the search for Misha over the past month, including the FBI and our local law enforcement partners.鈥

Solok, 20, was from Aurora, Colorado, and was studying political science.

鈥淥ur hearts go out to Misha鈥檚 family and friends,鈥 Dean of Students Sandy Jones said. 鈥淲e encourage all who need support during this difficult time to talk to a friend or a family member or to seek professional support through the many campus resources available.鈥

Included among the campus support services available to students, staff and faculty are the Office of Victim Assistance (OVA), the Faculty & Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) and Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). Many other campus resources can be found on the campus website.
