This CAPS workshop is designed specifically for graduate students. The workshop focuses on mindfulness techniques and coping strategies. You will learn how to calm yourself in stressful situations, take a step back from your thoughts and make decisions that feel right for you. All workshops are free, confidential and unlimited for students. Students do not need to be a CAPS client or complete CAPS paperwork to attend.

Meets weekly to discuss various professional socialization topics with guest speakers on networking, conferencing, and grant writing.
Academic Deadlines
Nov. 12
Doctoral students must complete the PhD dissertation defense or final examination by this date. Notice of the examination must be provided to the Graduate School by your academic unit two weeks before the exam on an examination report form.
Nov. 19听
Doctoral students must submit the dissertation and signature page by this deadline.听 The dissertation must be by the end of the business day. A signature page with two signatures must also be turned in to the Graduate School office by this deadline. Students whose dissertations or signature pages are received after this deadline must apply to graduate at the following semester's commencement.
Nov. 19
Master's students must complete the thesis defense or final examination by this date.Notice of the examination must be provided to the Graduate School by your academic unit two weeks before the exam on an examination report form. Certain units do not require an exam for non-thesis students.听 Please contact your department with any questions.
Nov. 26
Master's thesis plan students must submit the thesis and signature page by this deadline. The thesis must be by the end of the business day.
