The university community is invited to joinԻInternational Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in celebration ofԳٱԲپDzԲܳپDz±Nov. 18–22.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of International Education Week (IEW), a joint initiative organized by the U.S. Departments of State and U.S. Department of Education, ԳٱԲپDzԲܳپDz± serves as “an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide and promotesprograms that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learnand exchange experiences.”
To celebrate IEW, ýĻƷ organizes programming to showcase and celebrate the extensive international connections here on campus, spearheaded by the offices of Education Abroad and International Student andScholar Services.
The headlineevent is a special IEW edition of International Coffee Hour on Nov.15—held the Friday before IEW to bring attention to the upcoming week. The event will feature a display of the 2019 photo contest submissions, recognize ýĻƷ Global Citizen awardees and 2019 photo contest winners.
