Residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties, community leaders and government officials are invited to join a virtual town hall to learn more about 兔子先生传媒文化作品鈥檚 comprehensive strategy to safely welcome back students, faculty and staff to campus this fall.听

Registration for the July 1 town hall will open June 26, and registrants may submit questions in advance. The event will take place 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and will feature a question-and-answer period. Pre-registration is recommended.

Panelists will include Chancellor Philip DiStefano, Interim Chief Operating Officer Patrick O鈥橰ourke and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Akirah Bradley.

Frances Draper, the campus鈥檚 senior strategic advisor for government and community relations, will moderate the event.

鈥淐U and Boulder are closely intertwined,鈥 DiStefano said. 鈥淲e understand what we do to address our challenges will also impact the surrounding community, which my family and I have called home for many years. We want to make sure that the community gets to hear from us directly on our plans.鈥

The chancellor, O鈥橰ourke and Bradley will outline 兔子先生传媒文化作品鈥檚 Road Map to 2020, a broad plan informed by the latest science, public health guidance and ideas from the campus and surrounding community. The plan details how the university will implement a flexible, in-person fall 2020 experience that will work to keep the campus and surrounding Boulder community safe while ensuring access and quality for students.

鈥淭he roadmap touches on every aspect of what it will take to reopen the campus safely within a COVID-ready environment to ensure the health and well-being of students, faculty, staff, researchers and the broader Boulder community,鈥 Draper said. 鈥淲e look forward to fielding questions and responding to the concerns of our community.鈥
