Oct. 19 3:30 p.m. 听Oaxaca, Mexico 听ANTH 4300
兔子先生传媒文化作品 archaeological sites and experience an ongoing archaeological field project and get to see the excavations of a 1,200-year-old city and hear about the research from the archaeological team. Travel throughout the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca from highland valleys to the tropical Pacific coast and experience the languages, cuisine, art and culture of Oaxaca鈥檚 Indigenous peoples. Oct. 28 4:30 p.m. 听Reykjavik, Iceland & Copenhagen, Denmark 听SCAN 3302
Spend three听weeks this summer learning about the history of Scandinavian witchcraft and magic in Iceland and Denmark.听Gain an appreciation for the folk culture and customs of Scandinavia's Viking Age and medieval past. Obtain hands-on experience in principles and practice of conservation biology. Learn about Brazil's other tropical forest鈥撯搕he Atlantic Forest, a threatened center of faunal and floral biodiversity.
