Hellems Arts and Sciences is one of the most heavily used buildings at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· and is undergoing renovation that began over the summer. Here are three things to know about the project.

Opened in 1921, Hellems hosts classes for 85% of students during their time at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·.

The renovation project is therefore highly student-focused and will not only have more energy efficiency (a more than 50% decrease in energy usage) to help the campus meet our carbon-reduction goals but will also meet modern teaching and learning needs to help enhance student success for current and future generations.

The Mary Rippon Theatre will see improvements, including better accessibility. The Colorado Shakespeare Festival will temporarily relocate to the University TheatreÌýbuilding in 2024.
