The recent completion of the t is a significant milestone for both the city of Boulder and 兔子先生传媒文化作品, and it holds several reasons for celebration.

Prioritizing safety

The newly opened fully protected intersection prioritizes the safety of students, faculty, staff and the community.听

It has been designed to provide a physical separation between vehicles and pedestrians, cyclists and other road and pathway users. Later this fall, it will provide two pedestrian and bicycle underpasses that are fully separated from vehicles.听

Emphasizing sustainability, connectivity

This intersection serves as a vital link between Main Campus and East Campus. These improvements make using alternative modes of transportation safer and more efficient, whether you're walking, cycling or riding the bus.

A city-university collaboration

The 30th and Colorado upgrades are the latest in a long history of city-兔子先生传媒文化作品 partnership to enhance connections between the community and our campus.

What鈥檚 next?

The intersection is now open for travel, and the underpasses will open in early October. There are two related projects on the horizon for 2023 and 2024 that will extend sidewalk-level protected bike lanes on 30th Street north of Colorado Avenue and on Colorado Avenue west of 30th Street, further enhancing campus transportation options.

To commemorate this milestone, the community is invited to participate in a scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.听
