New vice chancellor for sustainability position, other sustainability initiatives announced

Chancellor Justin Schwartz has announced several actions to further establish ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· as a global leader in sustainability. The university will partner with Pivot Energy to add 5 megawatts of solar energy to the local grid and is committing tax credit savings to campus decarbonization efforts.

Campus to welcome largest conference in 19 years

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s Conference Services is set to accommodate the National Order of the Arrow for six days starting July 29. The large-scale event will fill 6,000 campus beds, 500 local hotel rooms and 170 campus event spaces.
