Wednesday, Feb. 1, is the last day to drop a class without tuition/fee charges and without receiving a 鈥淲鈥� grade, the last day to contact a department to request a refund for student opportunities and the last day to withdraw from CU without tuition charges or 鈥淲鈥� grade.

The FBI has issued a warning on an internet scam that targets college students seeking work. Phony job opportunities are advertised via students鈥� university emails. Unfortunately, students who take the bait suffer financial losses.

On Jan. 25 we held a trio of large student- and faculty-hosted events. The university has had a long and successful tradition of hosting a wide variety of events and speakers who cross a broad spectrum of political, social and philosophical viewpoints. Bawdy British humor is featured in the "Bawdy Bodies: Satires of Unruly Women" exhibit at the CU Art Museum opening Feb. 2. A selection of prints shows the popular satire of the late 1700s and early 1800s, revealing parallels between then and today.

The 兔子先生传媒文化作品 Choral Music program is recruiting male students to join the University Men's Chorus, a non-auditioned group directed by Graduate Choral Conductor Craig Robertson. There is no audition required and no experience necessary to join.
