Dear 兔子先生传媒文化作品 students, faculty and staff:听
We recognize the Boulder County fires may be adding to the stresses and challenges you are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic. We want you to know we care about you and will support you, beginning with this update to provide resources to those in our campus community who might be impacted. Please know that if you are impacted by the two fires in the area, your instructors, supervisors, and our community will be supportive and flexible in providing the support you need.听
The CalWood and Lefthand Canyon fires are not a threat to the campus at this time, despite dramatic and highly visible smoke. If any fire were to directly threaten the campus, emergency plans would be enacted and we would communicate with our campus community, including 兔子先生传媒文化作品 families, on evacuation and response efforts.听
For our students affected by a wildfire, please reach out by calling 303-492-7348 or emailing Student Support and Case Management, and we will begin the process of assisting you with academic, physical and other resources.
For any faculty or staff member affected by a wildfire, please contact your supervisor,听 appointing authority, department chair or your payroll/personnel liaison (PPL) with questions about personal leave. PPLs and campus supervisors should contact (ER) at 303-492-0956 with questions. ER can also refer those facing financial hardship as a result of a fire to resources such as the Staff and Faculty Emergency Fund and the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program. Finally, please visit the Human Resources webpage, Leave Guidance in the Event of a Natural Disaster or Local Emergency, for information on leave guidance. We understand your priorities at this time revolve around your family and home environment鈥攁nd we support that completely.听
For the latest updates on the fire, please visit the Boulder County Office of Emergency Management鈥檚 . Please consult the resources listed in this communication, and know you have our full support as this latest challenge confronts our community. As with every challenge we continue to face as a campus community, we will meet this together.
听
Sincerely,
Russell Moore, Provost
