- When Athletic Director Rick George introduces Mel Tucker, he will do so with the comfortable conviction that he has found the coach who can return the Buffaloes to national prominence.

- Eight Colorado football players were named to the honorable mention team on Dec. 3. To qualify, a student-athlete must possess a minimum 3.0 grade point average and appear in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
