Industry Treks
Experience Through Exploration
Treks are off-campus company visits that provide students with the opportunity to experience workplace culture, explore employment opportunities and make professional connections.
A trek involves a group of students traveling or 'trekking' to a particular region to meet recruiters on-site at their offices. They typically involve a site tour and recruiter presentations about the types of positions they hire for and their company culture.
Trek participants get unique face-to-face interaction with executives from all areas of business.
Organized around a specific location or industry, many treks are coordinated in partnership between the Leeds Career Development Office, Burridge Center for Finance, the CU Real Estate Center, the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility, the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship and other departments within Leeds.
