What is a School of Education Undergraduate Ambassador?
School of Education ambassadors are students who promote the school and act as a liaison to prospective students and families through informational and outreach events. School of Education ambassadors also assist the communication team with social media and web content. An ambassador is a volunteer position that is for a full academic year.
What do ambassadors do?
- Assist with School of Education and ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· admissions events.
- Administrative support for recruitment campaigns.
- Answer questions from prospective students about the undergraduate experience.
- Support events and enhance sense of community for and among current students.
- Share your enthusiasm for the School of Education and ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·!
What are expected from ambassadors?
- Attend bi-weekly support meetings with School of Education staff members.
- Learn about School of Education values, offered degree programs, and student opportunities. Become comfortable enough to interact with prospective students and families to answer questions.
- Help with admissions events.
- Assist with social media features for the School of Education and potentially other ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· websites, publications, social media channels, etc.
- Be featured on the School of Education website as an ambassador and be a source of information for prospective students’ questions.
