Rural and Small Town Staff and Faculty
Staff, faculty and even graduate students from across the university may claim a small town as home. To facilitate the sharing of stories, experiences, and perspectives amongst ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· rural and small town professionals, the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Rural Network oversees a Rural Staff/Faculty Affinity Group. This group serves to foster community among individuals with similar backgrounds as well as advocate for recognition of ‘rurality’ as a unique part of an individual’s identity.
Additional support for ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· staff and faculty is provided by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), including individual counseling appointments.
