Student Opportunities
TheSustainability and Storytelling Lab involves faculty, staff, community experts and students. The lab offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from across ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·, with options for course credit and pay in order to foster high-impact learning experiences. Through critical thinking, public engagement and communication, the lab aspires to foster a more just and sustainable future for students after graduation, as well as for local and global communities more broadly.
Applications for internships are accepted in November (for spring semester), May (for summer) and August (for fall), though students are encouraged to reach out at any time during the year to inquire about involvement.
The lab further works with the Department of Environmental Studies, career services professionals and students in the graduate certificate in environmental justice to create opportunities for research and for-credit internships for students. Contact us to learn more.
We work with the Department of Environmental Studies to provide credit and stipend opportunities in association with their internship course for ENVS undergraduate majors, ENVS 3930. For more information, visit their website.
We also work with CMCI Career Services to provide internships for any CMCI undergraduate major for credit and a stipend. You can find us on Handshake.
We welcome graduate students enrolled in the graduate certificate in environmental justice or working with one of the faculty in the lab. For more information, contact us.
